The First Pancyprian Conferences

The First Pancyprian Conferences

Though ultimately unsuccessful, the first attempt to establish a unified direction amongst the various Unions was made with the First Pancyprian Trade Union Conference in August 1939. Two years later, in 1941, the Cypriot Trade Union movement would finally be unified for the first time, when in the 17th of November the Pancyprian Trade Union Committee (ΠΣΕ) was established and put in charge of leading and enlightening the Trade Union movement.
